Houston Area Glass Association announces the Annual Scholarship recipients for 2024

HAGA loves investing in the future of our students. In collaboration with our generous annual sponsors we are able to award several scholarships each year. We strive to unleash the potential of tomorrow by continuing our annual scholarship program, stay tuned for 2025 release date.

We had many incredible candidates apply to our scholarship program and are pleased to announce our 6 winners for 2024.

Jonathan Bradley Bundy, referred by Terri Gilmore of A3 Glass Fabricator, is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. Jonathan plans to pursue a degree in Health Science Studies at Baylor University.

Victoria Campbell, referred byMalea Basile of JLM Wholesalers is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. Victoria plans to pursue a degree Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Riley Lynn Gilmore, referred by Terri Gilmore of A3 Glass Fabricator, is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. Riley plans to attend a college/university to pursue a degree in Nursing.

Alina Gutierrez, referred by RJ Hernandez of Absolute Glassworks, is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. Alina plans to pursue a degree in Global Hospitality Leadership at the University of Houston.

Ryleigh Rodgers, referred by Jacque Freeman of Binswanger Glass Co, is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. Ryleigh plans to pursue a degree in Bachelor of Science at the University of Alabama.

Anna Vera Thornton, referred by Jacque Freeman of Binswanger Glass Co, is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. Anna plans to pursue a degree in Sports Management at the University of Arkansas.

The annual scholarship is available to any high school senior or college student referred by a HAGA member. The applicants are judged on a 350-word essay, volunteerism, and school transcripts.
