Houston Area Glass Association announces the Annual Scholarship recipients for 2025


HAGA loves investing in the future of our students. In collaboration with our generous annual sponsors we are able to award several scholarships each year. We strive to unleash the potential of tomorrow by continuing our annual scholarship program, stay tuned for 2026 release date.

We had many incredible candidates apply to our scholarship program and are pleased to announce our 4 winners for 2025.

We greatly appreciate all the family and friends of the late Ted Gilmore that donated to the HAGA scholarship fund in lieu of flowers. Ted Gilmore had a strong belief in the power of education to open doors and create opportunities and appreciated HAGA initiative to give back and donate funds to its members students some of which were his grandchildren.



Alyssa Crowley-Miller
, referred by John Linhart of Tristar Glass, is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. Alyssa is currently pursuing a degree in Public Health and Nursing at Baylor University.


Riley Lynn Gilmore
,
referred by Terri Gilmore of A3 Glass Fabricator, is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. Riley is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing at Texas State University.


Jenna Goedken
, referred by Rorry Bell & Rick Nennom of Hou-Tex Glass, is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. Jenna plans to attend a college/university after graduating high school.

Abel Rene Gonzalez

referred by Rosalinda Deleon, is the recipient of a $1000 scholarship. Abel plans to attend a college/university to pursue a degree in Psychology.



Congratulations to all our scholarship recipients!

The annual scholarship is available to any high school senior or college student referred by a HAGA member. The applicants are judged on a 350-word essay, volunteerism, and school transcripts.
